search and playback functionality. YouTube API

safeguard your information when you use our music

Pixel Play accesses device sensors to enhance your

Activity Recognition: We detect
your current activity (walking, running,
driving, or stationary) to adapt the music
experience contextually. This data is processed
locally on your device and is not transmitted to
any server.

Step Counter / Pedometer: Step
count and cadence data may be accessed during
active sessions to provide rhythm-aware music
features. This data is stored only in your
device's local memory for the duration of the
session and is not persisted or shared.

Motion Sensors (Accelerometer /
Gyroscope):
We use motion sensor data for shake detection
(to trigger shuffle/skip actions) and
orientation-based interactions. This data is
processed in real-time on your device and is not
stored or transmitted.

Proximity Sensor: Used to
detect when the device is near your ear or face,
enabling automatic screen dimming during
playback. No proximity data is stored or shared.
Health Data Commitment: All sensor
and activity data is processed entirely on your
device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share
any health-related data with third parties. No
sensor data leaves your device at any time. You can
revoke sensor permissions at any time through your
device's system settings.
2.4 Third-Party Data
We integrate with third-party services that may
collect data:

5.4 Lyrics.ovh
We use Lyrics.ovh API to fetch song lyrics. Song
titles and artists are sent to their service. Review
their privacy policy at their website.

We retain your information only as long as necessary
for the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Below are the specific retention periods for each
type of data we collect:

Session & Authentication Data:
Stored in your device's localStorage for the
duration of your active session. Data is
automatically removed when you log out. If you
do not log out, session data is retained for a
maximum of 12 months from your
last use, after which it expires.

Play History & Preferences:
Your recently played songs (up to 20 entries),
search cache, and learned preferences are stored
locally on your device for up to
12 months. Search cache entries
expire automatically after
6 hours.

Cached Files (PWA): Cached via
service worker for offline functionality.
Retained until you clear your browser cache, the
service worker updates, or a maximum of
30 days since last access.

Health & Sensor Data:
Step count and activity data (if collected) is
processed locally on-device only and is
never transmitted to our
servers. This data is retained on your device
until you clear app storage or uninstall the
app.

Google Account Information:
Name, email, and profile photo received via
Google Sign-In are stored locally on your device
only and retained until you log out. We do not
store Google account data on any server.

Analytics Data: Anonymized
usage analytics (via Google Analytics) are
retained as per Google's standard retention
policy of 14 months.
No Server Storage: Pixel Play does
not operate its own backend servers. All personal
data is stored locally on your device. We do not
retain any personal data on remote servers.
10. Data Deletion — How to Delete Your Data
You have the right to delete your data at any time.
Since all personal data is stored locally on your
device, you have full control over deletion:
10.1 Delete All Data (Complete Reset)
- Open Pixel Play in your browser or app

immediately remove all sign-in data
10.3 Request Deletion via Email
If you need assistance deleting your data or want
confirmation that your data has been removed,

connect@creativepixels.in. We will respond to deletion requests within
30 days.
10.4 Third-Party Data
To delete data held by third-party services used by
Pixel Play:
